Yerevan /Mediamax/. Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski has expressed the hope that 2016 will be marked with a new level of Armenia-EU relations and the talks on the new comprehensive legal document will be completed by late 2016.
Piotr Switalski said this today meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, the Armenian presidential press service reports.
Piotr Switalski has reconfirmed EU’s interest in assisting Armenia to develop cooperation and implement reforms.
In his turn, Serzh Sargsyan reiterated that development of Armenia’s cooperation and relations with the EU is one of the foreign policy priorities.
The Armenian President has expressed the hope that the EU’s assistance for reforms will be ongoing given the effectiveness of the support for the country so far. He has stressed that especially after the constitutional reforms, Armenia enters a new stage of large-scale reforms.
