Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Ministry will appoint a Deputy Minister to specifically deal with matters of Armenian foreign economy.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan made this statement today at the conference on matters of Armenian-Iranian relations agenda.

“We have already made the decision, and soon we’ll have a Deputy Minister in the Foreign Ministry to specifically deal with matters of foreign economy. I believe it is very important for people in that structure to systematize and put our efforts in one direction together with Development Agency, Ministry of Economy and other Ministries. Of course, all intergovernmental commissions will be involved in this process, and the issues related to economic matters will be discussed,” said Serzh Sargsyan.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Co-Chair of Armenian-Iranian Joint Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan, Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan, Minister of Transport and Communication Gagik Beglaryan, and Armenian Ambassador to Iran Artashes Tumanyan participated in the conference.
