Yerevan /Mediamax/. Azerbaijan believes that Armenia uses the issue of implementation of monitoring mechanism for the truce violations “to divert attention from the comprehensive political and legal solution to the conflict”.

“Yerevan deliberately brings the need to implement this type of action. This is a technical issue that Armenia needs to divert attention from the comprehensive political and legal solution to the conflict, to maintain the status quo and to continue the occupation of Azerbaijani territories . We have already said that the incident investigation mechanism could be introduced in the process of the withdrawal of Armenian troops. Once they leave the territory of Azerbaijan, all incidents will be over, there won’t be any need to investigate anything”, said Azerbaijani FM during an interview with Kommersant.
