Yerevan /Mediamax/. Azerbaijan made an attempt at diversion on the Eastern and Southern directions of the NK-Azerbaijan Line of Contact between 23:00 and 23:30 on October 20.
Vanguard units of the Artsakh Defense Army identified the advance of Azerbaijani special forces in time and threw them back to their initial positions, causing losses in personnel.
The Artsakh Defense Army suffered no casualties in the skirmish.
Apart from diversion attempts, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime more than 50 times on the night of October 20, releasing about 2800 shots from fire weapons of different caliber in the direction of Armenian positions.
Azerbaijani Armed Forces also used DShK machine guns (200 shots) on the Southern direction.
