Yerevan/Mediamax/. 27 338 births were registered in Armenia over January-August period of this year, out of which 14 657 births were registered in Yerevan.
The number of births has increased by 920, compared to the same period in 2013, the Ministry of Health reported.
4 179 children were born in Armenia in August, out of them 2 282 were born in capital Yerevan.
Among regions, Shirak, Lori, Tavush and Kotayk boast the most number of births.
