Yerevan/Mediamax/. Automate "Space debris” detection station will be launched in Byurakan Observatory in September.

As Director of the Observatory Hayk Harutyunian said today, three new telescopes with 30-35 cm diameter will be delivered to Byurakan Observatory within the framework of the joint Armenian-Russian project for “space debris” detection, Mediamax reports.

Two other telescopes - the Schmidt telescope and the 2,6-meter telescope- will be also modernized within the framework of the project.
