An exhibition opened at UWC Dilijan College, where works of 13 college students were presented for the first time.

The students chose this unusual format to pass their IB Visual Arts final exam, which is a received way of grading in the International Baccalaureate project.

The students created their works during two years of studying at UWC Dilijan College, and presented them to the public for the first time.

Students made independent decisions on which form is closer to their hearts -photography, video, painting or graphics.

“We believe that imagination and creative approach are essential elements of educational process. We’re proud of the exhibited works which show that our students experienced great development while studying at UWC Dilijan College,” said Deputy Head of the college Sally Norris.

“Dilijan and its nature inspire me, and people are very nice here. Maybe years later, when I am a successful specialist, I will come back and make a project in Dilijan,” said one of the exhibition’s participants, Semih Boyaci from Turkey.

For Johanna from Lebanon, studying at UWC Dilijan College was an opportunity to break down her own stereotypes.

“Graduates of UWC College often say that the college changed their lives, and I understand them now. The whole world is represented in this small place,” she noted.
