Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armen Arzumanyan was relieved of the post of the Spokesman for the Armenian President today.

Under another decree of the President, Arman Saghatelyan was appointed the Spokesman for the Armenian President, the Armenian presidential press service reports.

 

Arman Saghatelyan is 37 years old. He graduated from the Agrarian Academy of Armenia and postgraduate course of the National Academy of Sciences.

 

He served in the Information and Propaganda Department of the Armenian Defense Ministry, then he worked in the Defense Ministry system. From 2001, he has been a lecturer in Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University. He has headed the Center of Information and Public Communication Technologies Research (Chair) of the YSLU since 2011.

 

In 2001-2013, Arman Saghatelyan was the Director of "ArmRadio FM 107" radio station.

 

He is a Candidate of Political Sciences, author of over dozen of scientific articles and education programs.

 

He was awarded a medal "For Participation of Military Actions in 1992-1994" and "Garegin Nzhdeh" medal.
