Yerevan /Mediamax/. Baku and Minsk are preparing a supply contract for another batch of Belarusian military equipment, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev revealed in Minsk today.
BELTA agency reports that the negotiations between the leaders of the two countries concluded with a memorandum signed by the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus and the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
“This document will become a contract on supply of another batch of Belarusian military equipment to Azerbaijan at the earliest possible date,” Aliyev said.
According to him, the official Baku is happy with cooperation with Belarus in this sector.
“Military and technical collaboration between our countries has a great record already, large volume and a good tendency for expansion,” he added.
President Aliyev also thanked Belarus for the stance on Karabakh conflict settlement.
