Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia and Germany signed a technical agreement on re-stationing of one Armenian peacekeeping subdivision in the Camp Kasaba military settlement in Kabul.
On May 12-13, head of Department of Defense Policy of Armenian Defense Ministry Levon Ayvazyan took part in the military-political planning conference of the countries providing forces to the Northern Command within ISAF mission implemented by NATO in Afghanistan held in Potsdam.
During the conference, the sides discussed issues related to planning of NATO’s “Decisive Support” mission due in Afghanistan in 2015.
19 countries taking part in the conference agreed upon the conception of the structure of the command due to be established in north Afghanistan, military planning and security issues.
The Armenian side reiterated its commitment to Germany which leads the Northern Command to take part in “Decisive Support” mission.
