Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan said today that the murder of Armenian captive Karen Petrosyan is the traditional modus operandi of Azerbaijani leadership.
“It’s a tactics peculiar of Azerbaijan. It’s not the first time Azerbaijan tries to depict a civilian as a saboteur, makes a show out of it by publishing videos and then kills him so that the truth is not revealed. It’s the result of Azerbaijan’s morbid imagination and an attempt of overcoming its own complexes”, Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Mediamax correspondent.
According to him, since Azerbaijan has no real victories on the contact line, it tries to please its own society by fake steps and inhuman actions.
“One thing is clear – the Armenian party has never demonstrated such attitude to Azerbaijanis captured in the territory of Armenia, although we have all facts proving who is a civilian and who is a saboteur”, said Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
