Yerevan/Mediamax/. First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha touched upon the July - August developments in the Caucasus region of the collective security.
The Deputy Minister also met with Secretary of Council of Defense Ministers of CIS member states Alexander Sinaisky within the working visit to Moscow, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reports.
The meetings focused on international and regional security as well as issues related to peacekeeping and military education. Also, issues related to the preparation and holding of “Indestructible Brotherhoold-2015” joint exercises of CSTO member states due in Armenia next year and staff trainings at the specialized educational institutions in CIS were discussed.
Within the visit, the First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia is scheduled to take part in the final round of “Tank Biathlon-2014” world championship due to be held in the base of “Alabino” military training complex of Russian Armed Forces tomorrow.
