Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said today that the peaceful conditions and political measures as well as coordinated approaches serve as the only way to give a final solution to Artsakh’s self-determination.

The Defense Minister stated it at the meeting with Yerevan State University lecturers and students today.

“There is no alternative to the self-determination of Artsakh. With its democracy Artsakh does not yield to any country in the region, while compared to our rival, it’s more democratic and united”, Seyran Ohanyan noted pointing out “the history has shown that during their joint life Azerbaijan has always demonstrated a biased approach to Artsakh”.

Touching upon the rival’s military rhetoric, the Minister said: “No matter how much our neighbors swagger and engage in military rhetoric, we are able to preserve the balance of those powers owing to our military spirit, unity and readiness of our soldiers. At that, the rival’s quantitative privilege plays no role here”.

The Minister stated that over these years the Armenian party has created and continues to create national and international guarantees to ensure the safety of the Armenian people.
