Operability test of Russian military base in Armenia starts

Yerevan /Mediamax/. A sudden operability test was launched in the Russian military base in Armenia.

The operability test is conducted by the Southern Military District Commission of the Russian Armed Forces under the leadership of General-Lieutenant Igor Turchenyuk.

 

During the test, the Commission will study the readiness of the forces on duty of Erebuni Air Base and Gyumri garrison. Special attention will be paid to the practical actions with regard to giving the alarm and the withdrawal of the military base units to the mentioned areas with the accomplishment of further combat-capable tasks at Kahmud and Alagyaz high-altitude training grounds.

 

The unit of unmanned aviation vehicles (UAVs) will perform real-time video surveillance of the units acting on alarm.
