Armenia successfully participates in Saber Junction combat training

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Saber Junction 2016 multi-national combat training exercise at the U.S. Army combat training center in Hohenfels, Germany, is coming to an end. 32 medical staff of Armenian Armed Forces participated in the training from March 29, 2016.

 

Armenian Defense Ministry noted that up to 5,000 servicemen from 16 countries are engaged in the training.

 

During the exercise, Armenian unit provided medical support on level 2 of NATO standards. American EMEDS mobile field hospital, owned by Armenian Armed Forces, was used abroad for the first time.

 

Medical staff of Armenian Armed Forces, who participated in the training, evacuated the wounded and stabilized their condition, provided emergency and operative treatment, as well as other first medical aid in conditions maximally similar to military operations.

 

Commander of Army Europe, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges came to the traning place as well and met Armenian servicemen.

 

Participation in Saber Junction will promote improvement of skills of the crew of American EMEDS mobile field hospital owned by Armenian Armed Forces.
