Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said today that he doesn’t think it “proper” to speak about the need for reconsidering Armenia-Russia relations after Gyumri tragedy.

“We have allied and strategic ties with Russia and I don’t think it’s proper to link Gyumri tragedy to Armenia-Russia relations or speak about their reconsideration”, said Edward Nalbandian addressing a press conference summing up the diplomatic year of 2014.

According to him, Armenia and Russia are going to more develop and deepen allied and strategic relations.

The FM recalled that from the very first day of Gyumri tragedy, Armenia and Russia have properly cooperated on various levels.

“The sides have full understanding that the investigation be open, transparent and the culprits be severely prosecuted by law”, the Minister added.
