Yerevan/Mediamax/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has today stated that if Russia again violates his country’s air space Turkey will take the same measures as on November 24.

As Anatolian news agency reports, Erdogan addressed a speech during his meeting with heads of local self-government bodies in Ankara today.

“We have strategic partnership with Russia. But our unity requires solidarity, and our unity doesn’t allow threats against each other; we were unhappy about it. We take efforts not to create tension in the region but to ensure peace and tranquility. We don’t have reasons to target Russia without any border violations as we have multilateral and very stable relations with the country. Our discords with Russia on Syrian policy is one thing, and application of rules of military actions is a completely different thing”, said the Turkish President.

“Besides, we don’t consider it correct to affect our political and economic relations by the incident in which the whole international community admitted our rightness. If the violations take place today, Turkey will again respond in the same way. In this regard, not the country which air space was violated but the country which did it should question itself and take steps to prevent the reoccurrence of the incident”, he noted.
