Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Ambassador Arman Kirakosyan said at the OSCE Permanent Council Meeting that the policy of Azerbaijan is the main obstacle in Nagorno- Karabakh conflict settlement.
He said that anti-Armenian policy of Azerbaijan has never changed in the last 25 years.
The Head of the Armenian Mission reconfirmed Armenia's support for the agreed format of OSCE Minsk Group.
He found concerning that the President of Azerbaijan manipulated the religious factor in his recent statement, stressing that Azerbaijani allegations in terms of bias attitude connected with identity and religious beliefs endanger preparation of the societies of conflicting parties to peace.
Arman Kirakosyan stressed that Azerbaijan’s demands on the expansion of the OSCE Minsk Group format are destructive and have negative impact on the peace process.
The Armenian side also viewed distractive Azerbaijan’s effort to engage other international platforms that have no say in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
