Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the phone today.
“In a follow-up to yesterday’s discussion at CIS summit in Ashgabat, the two leaders discussed the situation in the north of Syria. They also touched on other issues of regional importance,” the government press service has said in a statement.
Nikol Pashinyan has made the following remark on his Facebook page:
“Earlier today I had a phone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. I made a request during our talk yesterday, which concerns the security of Armenian community of Syria. I am thankful to President Putin for swift response.”
