Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic authorities returned the 15-year old young man who had crossed the NKR border a few days before to Azerbaijan.
“Displaying good will and commitment to the provisions of the Geneva Conventions, with the assistance of the Stepanakert Office of the International Committee for the Red Cross, NKR authorities handed over to representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan underage resident of Mir-Bashir town Muzafarzade Javid Samir oglu, born in 1999, who crossed independently the NKR border in Martakert region on September 5, 2014, and was detained by the corresponding services of the NKR”, the release of the State Commission of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons reads.
The handing over took place on September 11, at 15:04 pm of the local time, on the border between the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and the Azerbaijani Republic, near the village of Bash Karvend.
