Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov stated today that the Co-Chairs engaged in Karabakh settlement - Russia, U.S. and France- are “an example of international mediation”.
He said this at a news conference following the OSCE Ministerial Council in Basel, Mediamax’s special correspondent from Basel reports.
According to him, “there have been certain ups and downs in Karabakh settlement, the conception of the very settlement has even been changed, but it has always been agreed upon with the sides”.
“The Co-Chairs- Russia, U.S. and France - strive to help the parties in every way possible. They are an example of international mediation. There is a good, friendly cooperation on the issue. I hope we will have results in the foreseeable future”, stated Sergey Lavrov.
Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov met in Basel today.
