Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today Artsakh Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan touched upon speculations over Armenia’s interstate loan to NKR.

“While Armenia’s interstate loan to Artsakh made around 73% in total NKR budget expenditures in 2000, and 60% in 2007, it will make around 52% in 2015. The interstate loan is established in conformity with the agreement signed by the governments of both republics and Artsakh’s economy has its substantial input in Armenia’s total budget revenues by way of tax and customs payments”, said the PM addressing a speech at the NKR National Assembly.

“Thus, let the “evil tongues” know that the interstate loan to Artsakh is not granted at the expense of the Armenian citizens and that NKR citizens also have their contribution to those sums. Yes, we do respect those supporting Artsakh and taking part in charity and economic programs, but Artsakh’s development trends which are the result of investment policy should also be assessed”, said Arayik Harutyunyan.
