Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan instructed the Foreign Ministry to work toward signing a mutual military assistance agreement with Nagorno Karabakh.
The President said this at the session of the National Security Council today.
“It is necessary to have the text of the agreement, conduct relevant discussions and send it to the National Assembly. Armenia will fully fulfill its obligation to ensure the safety of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, and we also have the legal right to do so, because we are also a party to the Ceasefire Agreement signed in 1994”, President said.
