Yerevan /Mediamax/. His Holiness Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I had a phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam upon visiting Armenia and Artsakh.
Aram I highly appreciated the position on NK conflict that Lebanon took at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Summit held recently in Istanbul.
It is worth reminding that Lebanon abstained from vote on the point of the summit’s final statement, where OIC condemned Armenian side and demanded to withdraw Armenian troops from NK territory.
His Holiness also noted that “Lebanon shows healthy attitude that is appreciated by people of Artsakh, Armenia and Diaspora”.
