Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received today Bridget Brink, US Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.
According to the press release of the Armenian MFA, Edward Nalbandian said that the recent joint efforts ensured a positive progress in the bilateral relations.
Bridget Brink noticed that the United States highly appreciate partnership with Armenia and is interested in closer collaboration.
“I am glad to be in Yerevan again to discuss the issues from the agenda of Armenian-American cooperation, which multiple gradually. We will speak of intensifying business and trade relations between Armenia and the US, efforts aimed on reforms in election process for the 2017 election, as well as recent developments in the NK conflict settlement and mediation of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” said Deputy Assistant Secretary.
The parties discussed efforts aimed on creating appropriate conditions for renewal of the negotiation process. In this regard, importance was attached to implementation of the agreements reached at Vienna and St. Petersburg summits.
