Yerevan /Mediamax/. Former Foreign Minister of Armenia, National Assembly’s “Prosperous Armenia” faction MP Vartan Oskanyan has submitted a request on leaving PAP.
Secretary of PAP faction Naira Zurabyan told Mediamax about it adding that Vartan Oskanyan has not submitted a request on renouncing his deputy’s mandate to the National Assembly Speaker.
According to Naira Zurabyan, PAP will discuss Vartan Oskanian’s request, however, “they will attempt to ask him to stay in the party”.
“I understand why Vartan Oskanian has made such a decision”, said the faction’s secretary without opening the brackets.
The former Foreign Minister of Armenia made a decision to join PAP in February 2012.
