Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan introduced the newly appointed ministers to the staff of Ministries of Economy, Healthcare, Culture, Nature, Sport and Youth Affairs.

Introducing new Minister of Economy Suren Karayan, Prime Minister said that he attaches great importance to the operation of this ministry.

 

“We should announce and prove with every step we take that we stand by the public, investors, and businessmen. We should review the legislative normative field that forms business environment. If there is an obstacle, we should eliminate it. We should create the field, where an investor from abroad feels safe and in a fair environment. I anticipate new projects from you as well to be provided to the outside world,” Karen Karapetyan said, adding that this ministry should set an example for businesses by its own management quality.

 

Prime Minister attached importance to the cooperation between the mentioned ministry and banking system. 

 

“We should understand exactly what we want to do in our country, how we want it to be done and what kind of environment we should create for businesses to feel comfortable. We should provide equal, fair conditions and stand up for those with vision, strength and audacity to create additional value,” Karen Karapetyan said. 

 

Introducing newly appointed Levon Altunyan to the staff of Ministry of Healthcare, Prime Minister noted that management structure should be reviewed, and optimized as much as possible.

 

“Each investment in healthcare should have logic and efficiency. We need to create fair and transparent environment to divide state budget means and state orders,” Prime Minister said.

 

Karen Karapetyan finds incorporation of e-Health system modern as well.

 

 “You should certainly have a goal to make the GDP cost, which you determine, comply with the means directed from the budget,” he noted.

 

Prime Minister introduced newly appointed Armen Amiryan to the Ministry of Culture. 

“Culture plays an important role in the formation of taste and awareness among Armenian citizens. We need to find ways to make Amenian citizens and the world recognize our culture, to create an environment, which will allow Armenian citizens get acquainted with international cultural values,” Prime Minister noted.

 

Introducing Minister of Nature Artsvik Minasyan, Prime Minister found logical commercialization important and attached importance to the development of ecotourism. 

 

“We should strictly review today’s structures, the SNCOs and the staff, and watch each penny. We should understand what a penny was paid for and ascertain whether it served its purpose,” Karen Karapetyan noted. 

 

Newly appointed Minister Hrachya Rostomyan was introduced to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.

 

“We need to organize national project on how we create an environment, where sport becomes a necessity, we need to spread that idea,” Prime Minister said.
