Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian said that “we have announced fight against monopolies and oligarchs”.

In the interview published in “Irates de facto” newspaper today, the Prime Minister said that “we won’t be successful in this fight unless all arrows are shifted on the government and the PM,” Mediamax reports.

“The attitude is as follows: let’s wait and see how you are you, Mr. Prime Minister, going to fight them?  People who are oligarchs and monopolists shift the blame onto the government and me. The society is also waiting: “how is the PM going to smash their skulls?” There will never be any result with such an approach,” Tigran Sargsian said.

Speaking about the role of media, the PM said:

“If the people want this fight to be successful, they must not move the arrows on us and discredit us. First of all, they must ponder over whose interests the media, writing such articles, protects, whose newspapers are these, who finances them and who stands by our side, so that we can be strong enough to fight them.”
