Yerevan/Mediamax/. Deputy Chairman of the Board of “Heritage Party” Armen Martirosyan said today that the party is ready to cooperate with the government in the sphere of fight against corruption if the authorities accept the proposals of “Heritage”.
Armen Martirosyan said that “Heritage” offers to set up an anti-corruption body which will involve representatives of the opposition and non-governemtnal organizations, Mediamax reports.
According to Martirosyan, the activity of this body will significantly influence the efficiency of the fight against corruption.
“The meetings dedicated to the fight against corruption convened by the President and Prime Minister are not the fight against corruption. These are steps which can pursue propagandistic goals ahead of elections. If the authorities really possess political will to fight corruption, the proposals of “Heritage” enable them to realize these steps,” said Armen Martirosyan.
