Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan introduced the newly appointed Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to the members of the Armenian government today.

“As you know, yesterday I appointed Hovik Abrahamyan, who enjoys the trust of the majority of the National Assembly MPs, to the post of the Armenian Prime Minister. Yesterday, the media thoroughly presented to the public all the processes and issues which the new PM and government should address. After the appointment of the PM, the government continues its work and I ask the government members to fulfill their duties in a conscientious and punctual manner.

Within 20 days, together with the PM we will form a new government. We will talk about the issues of the government at that time. I should just once more congratulate Mr. Abrahamyan and wish him good luck”, the Armenian presidential press service quotes the President as saying this.

“Mr. President, I would like to tell my colleagues that we don’t have any orientation to any candidate and I would ask all my colleagues to continue fulfilling their duties with even more enthusiasm. Within the period of time set by the Constitution, we will present you the staff of the new government concerted with you, Mr. President. We will consider the result of the work realized by the government members over the years and also the fact how well they will be able to implement new programs in future. Thank you”,  the Armenian presidential press service quotes Hovik Abrahamyan as saying this.
