Yerevan. Mediamax. Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan assured his Georgian counterpart Irakli Gharibashvili of the rigorous support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.

Mediamax's own correspondent in Georgia reports referring to the Georgian media that the two Prime Ministers had a phone talk upon Yerevan's initiative as Tbilisi had been concerned about the meeting of speakers of Armenia and South Ossetia in NKR.

According to the administration of the Georgian PM, Abrahamyan stated that it was ''an informal communication of private character on a day-off''.

He noted that the Speaker of South Ossetia parliament Anatoli Bibilov was in NKR on a private visit.

At the same time, Armenian Ambassador Yuri Vardanyan was invited to the Georgian Foreign Ministry where he met with Deputy Minister Gigi Gigiadze. The Georgian diplomat said he was “extremely worried’’ about the meeting of Armenian Speaker Galust Sahakyan and Anatoli Bibilov.

Georgian considers Abkhazia and South Ossetia as “occupied territories’’ after the war with Russian in 2008.
