Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents’ meeting may be held till late 2013

Yerevan /Mediamax/. The meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev may be held till late 2013.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated this addressing a joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara in Yerevan today.

Edward Nalbandian said that the meeting scheduled earlier between the two presidents didn't take place because of the Azerbaijani side.

“It seems now there is a principal agreement and understanding that such a meeting is needed and we should work to hold it till the end of 2013”, noted the Armenian FM.

Edward Nalbandian said that his meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in Vienna on July 12 focused on discussion of the options of advancing the negotiations process and schedule of meetings for upcoming months.
