Beijing ready to fund program to establish school for in-depth Chinese learning in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. China is ready to fund the program aimed at the establishment of a school specialized in in-depth learning of Chinese in Armenia.

Ambassador of China to Armenia Tian Changchun stated it at the meeting with the Armenian Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan.

 

According to the press service of the Education Ministry, Armen Ashotyan noted that the school for in-depth Chinese learning will operate under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education where students will study Chinese as well as culture and history.

 

Touching upon the management of the school, the Minister presented the management system of Armenian schools noting that the Chinese party can also get involved in the school management process by assigning its own representatives in the school’s management board.

 

The Armenian party expects Chinese specialists to support with regard to educational programs and teaching methods.

 

“Everybody around the world speaks with admiration about the Chinese miracle. Owing to our joint efforts I hope to create a small Chinese miracle in Armenia represented by this school”, said Armen Ashotyan.

 

The parties highlighted that the program of establishing a Chinese school will be exceptional in its format and content in the region and former USSR area and might spark interest outside of Armenia as well.
