Yerevan/Mediamax/. "Grozny -Avia” airline will start regular flights Simferopol -Yerevan-Simferopol from November 16.
Commercial Director of the airline Sergey Petrov told Mediamax correspondent about it.
“Starting November 16, our airline is going to start regular flights between Simferopol and Yerevan airports. On Sundays, we will fly from Simferopol to Yerevan and return to Simferopol on Mondays”, stated the company representative.
According to Sergey Petrov, the flights will be operated on Yak-41 planes.
“ In case of need and demand, we are ready to increase the frequency of flights. Yesterday, we started selling tickets and we already have buyers”, said Petrov.
Mediamax’s correspondent didn’t manage to get a comment on the issue from the Civil Aviation Department at the Armenian government.
It should be recalled that it’s the second international air route from Simferopol airport opened after Crimea’s annexation to Russia. Flights between Simferopol and Istanbul started earlier.
