Yerevan /Mediamax/. On March 28, UWC Dilijan College hosted popular jazz musician and pianist Tigran Hamasyan who had prepared an original concert program.

It’s the second concert organized by Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation and UWC Dilijan College this month. It aims to enliven the city’s cultural life and to grant the college students and city’s active youth an opportunity to enjoy the performances of popular musicians and bands.

“Medz Bazar (Grand Bazaar) band was the first to perform and we are happy that both the college students and the city’s youth are enthusiastic about these concerts. On one hand, such concerts introduce the college students to the modern Armenian culture and on the other hand, they enable the city’s youth to enjoy the performances of popular musicians. We believe that Dilijan where the IDeA Foundation is carrying out major projects has the potential to turn into a cultural event venue,” said Foundation’s Deputy CEO Sergey Tantushyan.

The college students, the youth of other educational institutions and the representatives of various community organizations jointly attended this concert, just like they did in case of the previous one. It also promotes closer contact between the UWC Dilijan College students and the local population.
