Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian journalist Maxim Shevchenko believes that “those who have taken to the streets of Yerevan have rebuffed the impudence and abuses of corporate managers.”

The journalist stated it in an interview to Radio Echo of Moscow.

“The imperialistic rule of monopolies and corporations in the post-Soviet territory, including in Russia, requires social rebuff. I believe the Armenian nation, which took to the streets, rebuffed the impudence and abuses of corporate managers who lifted the prices in a country that generates more electricity than it can consume and at that, Armenians should pay for the windfalls of Inter RAO managers. Who owns it? Who gave them these powers? And on the whole, who formed the cohort of people who consider themselves Gods on earth and believe that we, the ones living down here, are merely ants?” stated Maxim Shevchenko.

“Russia will apparently not sell the control of energy resources it possesses but I think Russia should act in the interests of post-Soviet nations, all the more, in the interests of fraternal nations, instead of acting as a neo-colonial monster, which draws out windfalls from the post-Soviet space in the interests of large corporations,” said the journalist.
