Yerevan /Mediamax/. #Tumo4Aurora launched on February 14, within which 10 000 students of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies will be included in creation of the symbols of Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity.
100LIVES/ Aurora Prize project CEO Arman Jilavyan presented the Aurora Prize in a meeting with students of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.
“Aurora Prize symbolizes the gratitude of Armenians towards the people and organizations that had helped them during the Genocide. Our aim and initiative is that each Armenian perceives that the award is given to today’s heroes, who saved another’s life, on his behalf. Thus, we are happy that Tumo center is joining the initiative with its 10 000 students”, said Arman Jilavyan.
The creative concept, chosen by 100LIVES creative council,will be exhibited in UWC Diljan College and might be included in Aurora Prize visual materials.
The first Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity will be awarded in Yerevan on April 24, 2016.
In March 2016 the Selection Committee will publish the names of 3 contestants and the first Aurora Prize winner will be awarded on April 24 with USD 100 000 and exclusive opportunity to offer USD 1.000.000 grant to the organization that inspired him/her.
The Selection Committee is co-chaired by Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel and actor George Clooney, the Co-Founder of “Not On Our Watch” Charity Fund.
