Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR), headed by Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of the US, Presidend of the Fund for Armenian Relief Khajag Archbishop Barsamian.
Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated the efforts FAR made both in the earthquake area and many other places in Armenia and Artsakh since 1988, as well as the support the fund currently provides to Syrian Armenians.
President Sargsyan addressed special gratitude to FAR President Khajag Archbishop Barsamian and expressed his confidence that “His Grace’s wisdom and organizational talent will serve Armenian nation for many years to come”.
Serzh Sargsyan awarded First Class Medals of Services to the Motherland to benefactors Edward and Janet Mardigian.
