Yerevan /Mediamax/. German Government Spokesman Steffen Seibert has announced that Chancellor Angela Merkel will receive Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at her residence on February 1.
The German Embassy in Armenia said, citing Steffen Seibert, that Merkel and Pashinyan will discuss bilateral relations, economic ties, foreign policy and defense.
During a visit to Yerevan in August 2018, Angela Merkel noted that Germany wanted to have a more active cooperation with Armenia.
Later on, Armenian MFA Spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said that “concrete agreements were reached within the frames of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit to Armenia on both investments and joint projects”.
