Today we live in a society, which can not imagine life without expressing views on social media. Probably it does have certain advantages. Nevertheless, many participants of active discussions have already forgotten or do not even know about the developments, which unfolded in Armenia 5, 10 or 15 years ago.

To fill the gap Mediamax presents 5/10/15 project, which introduce developments in Armenia 5, 10 and 15 years ago.

Coordination of efforts

On 22 October Armenian and Georgian Presidents Robert Kocharyan and Mikheil Saakashvili discussed the coordination of efforts of the two countries concerning the cooperation with the European Union (EU) within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy.

“We want our cooperation with the EU within the framework of this new program to be full-fledged and not declarative,” stated the leaders of two countries.

On the following day Kocharyan met Georgian Parliament speaker Nino Burjanadze and noted Armenia and Georgia could set up a joint task force to work out a document on the two countries’ priorities under the European Union’s European Neighbourhood Policy.

Kocharyan also remarked that the EU was not ready to formulate proposals under the European Neighbourhood Policy. “We can use this moment to express our expectations more actively,” he said.
