Yerevan/Mediamax/. Minister of Defense of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan discussed with Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski the prospects of cooperation within the EU common security and defense policy.
Vigen Sargsyan noted during the meeting on December 6 that Armenian Ministry of Defense implements bilateral planned collaboration with a number of EU member states and attached importance to activation of contacts with European structures within the frames of Armenia-EU ties.
Vigen Sargsyan received Polish Ambassador to Armenia Jerzy Marek Nowakowski as well.

Armenian Defense Minister attached importance to bilateral cooperation in defense sector, taking into consideration the joint experience of Armenian and Polish soldiers during peace-keeping operation in Iraq, as well as the high level of military and military technical cooperation.
