Yerevan/Mediamax/. The UWC National Committee of Armenia reports that applications for 2016-2018 academic year in UWC colleges will be admitted from Armenian citizens till November 17 inclusive.
The UWC colleges welcome socially active and creative teenagers aged 16-17. The UWC has a grants system which allows the young people to study at UWC colleges irrespective of their parents’ financial situation.
Students from various states are selected by the national committees of their countries.

UWC (United World College) is an educational system founded in 1962 which comprises 15 colleges in U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, Armenia, Singapore, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Costa Rica and Swaziland.
UWC Dilijan College opened last year and already 190 girls and boys from 63 countries - Russia, Armenia and other CIS countries, Europe and Asia, Middle East and Africa, North and South Americas, Australia - study at the college this year.
43 students from Armenia go to UWC colleges, and 21 of them study at UWC Dilijan College.
The language of instruction at UWC colleges is English, and students earn International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma upon graduation.
