Yerevan/Mediamax/. Political School of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will open in May this year, and the Party will deliver the new program in autumn.

Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan told this during a meeting with journalists.

The school responsible Armen Ashotyan said that the institution will be free of charge and is designed for politicians, citizens and party supporters.

According to the Vice-President of the Republican Party, school courses will allow to improve organizational, intellectual and political skills of the party members.

According to him, both RPA Party members will teach in the establishment and academic professors, regardless of party affiliation.

“Our goal is to develop the political thinking, which is needed today. I am confident that this political school will become a hub for political analytical thinking. It is the beginning of a road that will kick start development of the political, analytical mind”, he said.

Talking about RPA new program, Armen Ashotyan stated that relevant working group has been created, chaired by himself and Mushegh Lalayan.

“Our Party program was last revised ten years ago. Now there are new challenges. The new program will not only be in line with the present, it will also shape the future, maintaining the Party's ideological base”, said RPA Vice-President.

Armen Ashotyan said that the new program will be approved during the RPA congress this autumn, and before that it will be discussed with territorial organizations of the Party.
