Yerevan/Mediamax/. France is deeply shocked by the death of Armenian citizen Karen Petrosyan captured by Azerbaijan on August 8.
Spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry Roman Nadal said this answering a journalist’s question.
“France expresses condolence to Karen Petrosyan’s family. We call upon the Azerbaijani authorities to quickly return his body and shed light on the circumstances of his death”, said Roman Nadal.
Mediamax recalls that according to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Karen Petrosyan “suddenly died for an unknown reason”. Earlier, U.S. Department of State also expressed concerns about Karen Petrosyan’s death as well.
