Yerevan/Mediamax/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko, who is visiting Armenia in the framework of the "St. Petersburg days in Yerevan” program.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed that cooperation with Russian regions is the most important component of the dynamically developing Armenian-Russian interstate relations. He shared his appreciation for the fact that decentralized relations between the two countries strengthen and grow year by year.
Georgy Poltavchenko highly appreciated the level of relations formed between Saint Petersburg and Yerevan, in particular, certain turnover growth of recent years.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue deepening the ties between Saint Petersburg and Yerevan.
