Yerevan/Mediamax/. The situation remains extremely tense all along the contact line of Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.
According to NKR Defense Army press service, Defense Army's vanguard divisions continue to successfully conduct defensive battles and inflict heavy losses on the rival.
On the whole, Azerbaijani armed forces suffered more than 200 casualties during military operations that took place at night of April 1 to April 2.

NKR Defense Army states that at least 30 soldiers of the Azerbaijani special detachment were killed along Talish direction, 2 tanks and 2 drones - shot along Martakert direction and one helicopter - along northern direction.
Strong battles occur along the southeastern direction. The rival is using armored vehicles, artillery, including MM-21 (Grad), targeting not only Defense Army positions, but also the peaceful settlements deep in the rear.
One military helicopter and 2 tanks were shot by Defense Army along this direction at around 12:30.
“Unfortunately, Karabakh side suffered loses as well during the battles: more information will be provided at a later date”, the statement reads.
