Yerevan/Mediamax/. The MP of Armenian National Assembly and co-author of the draft law on "Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh” Zaruhi Postanjyan said today that recognition of Artsakh will prevent new issues.
“If we want to prevent war and gain supporters and partners in this matter, recognition is the only way. It will allow us to prevent many issues and become a political factor with strong position to be negotiated with,” said Zaruhi Postanjyan at the meeting with journalists.
The MP stressed that recognition of the Republic of Artsakh doesn’t hinder the negotiation process.
It is worth reminding that Armenian Government approved today the draft law conclusion on “Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh” presented by MPs Zaruhi Postanjyan and Hrant Bagratyan, which was conditioned by the results of the discussions between Armenia and Artsakh, taking into consideration future developments, including external factors.
