Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsian said today that the meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijan and Russian Presidents in Sochi on March 5 was a “key” one.

Mediamax reports that the President told journalists in Tsakhkadzor today that “now there is an exact negotiation basis and short-term agreements have been reached”. According to him, “it was finally noted in Sochi what way the sides were going to move”.

Serzh Sargsian noted that the short-term agreements are very important, aim at consolidation of the ceasefire regime and “can play the role of a litmus paper and show how the sides fulfill the commitments they take upon themselves”.

President stated that “at the moment there is a very good opportunity for the mediators to investigate all the incidents on the contact line, which have taken place before and after Sochi meeting, and present what had happened in reality”.

“The Armenian side fully fulfills the agreements reached. It is time for the two Presidents to answer distinctly what their goal is: to reach a result, or prepare for military actions under the veil of negotiations”, Armenian President stressed.
