Yerevan/Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan believes it is not impossible that he will remain the head of government in 2018.
Prime Minister shared this opinion at the meeting with heads and editors of media outlets on December 5, while answering the question on where he saw himself in 2018.
“If our team is successful, and if I feel I am needed, I see myself in the position of Prime Minister in 2018,” Karen Karapetyan said.
In the answer to another question he stressed that he hadn’t discussed his term as the head of government with President of Armenia.
Karen Karapetyan said he was surprised by the results of the recent poll that showed his ratings to be higher than those of the President. At the same time, Prime Minister thinks that his ratings may drop after he joined the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
