Yerevan/Mediamax/. Re-apaga charity foundation, created by UWC Dilijan college students in cooperation with Dilijan Community Centre, plans to conduct series of activities aimed at the fight against negative effect of electronic waste.
On September 21, the 25th anniversary of Declaration of Independence of Armenia, Re-apaga held a flashmob in Dilijan with the main purpose to attract the locals’ attention to electronic waste issue. More than 500 people participated in the event.
In the nearest future Re-apaga plans to give a lecture for Dilijan residents on the negative aspects of electronic waste exposure, to organize composition and drawing contests, as well as to create Re-apaga volunteer corps, which will deal with electronic waste collection in Dilijan.
